Today’s quote provides an interesting spin on over-indulgence: the amounts and types of foods we eat show up as fat on our body, so it doesn’t really matter whether anyone sees us eat them. While large amounts fat on the body are nearly impossible to hide, many of us feel frustrated by the effects of the foods we consume. The human body has a pretty sophisticated tracking system 😐

Loving food can be a double-edged sword, but it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Eating foods we love in moderation opens the door to living a healthy, happy life. The real issue is finding YOUR balance. Using a daily food journal (such as myfitnesspal for a few weeks) brings clarity to the balance issue.
